YOG World Mile
A truly unique intercultural exchange!
The culmination of the YOG World Mile will be an exhibition held in the Tyrolean regional capital's conference centre, Congress Innsbruck, during the Winter Youth Olympic Games, in which the nations taking part will be presented. Exactly how each country is shown to the world is entirely up to school classes from the local region participating in the YOG World Mile project! Starting in autumn 2010, schoolchildren from across Tyrol will learn all about a wide range of cultures in different subjects at school and get in touch with young people from partner classes in the countries represented at the Youth Winter Olympic Games in order to exchange ideas and opinions. The young athletes from all four corners of the world will then have a chance to check out the result of this intercultural exchange when they receive a unique welcome at the YOG World Mile exhibition in Innsbruck.
