Bobsleigh
The Bobsleigh competition at the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games will consist of a Two-Man Bobsleigh event and a Two-Woman Bobsleigh event held on the artificial icetrack in Innsbruck-Igls. This sport combines speed, power and agility, and is one of the original disciplines featured at the very first Winter Olympic Games.Competitors hurtle down a narrow, twisting ice-track with banked corners in agravity-powered bobsleigh. Each team has two runs, and the team with the fastest combined time is the winner.
