Situated at an altitude of 2020 m above sea level, Kühtai is the highest winter resort in Austria and lies only 30 km from the Tyrolean regional capital Innsbruck. As well as offering spectacular views, the Kühtai skiing area guarantees snow from November to May on 40 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes.
During the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games, Kühtai will join Innsbruck and Seefeld as the third location where top young athletes will battle it out for gold, silver and bronze in the K-Park, Austria’s biggest cross-park, in the disciplines Freestyle Ski Cross, Ski Halfpipe, Snowboard Slopestyle und Snowboard.
