Medals Plaza
Every day during the Games, Innsbruck's city centre will be transformed into one huge party zone with an action-packed programme at Medals Plaza in Maria-Theresien-Straße. From 14 to 21 January, Medals Plaza will host not only the daily Victory Ceremonies, but also the concerts of the Innsbruck 2012 Music Festival as well as the showcasing area for the Innsbruck 2012 Sponsors. On 22 January 2012, the final highlight of the 1<sup>st</sup> Winter Youth Olympic Games – the Closing Ceremony – will take place in Maria-Theresien-Straße.

- 12:30 to 14:30 Kids' programme
- 17:30 to 18:00 Samsung Media Art 'Dream_WHITENIGHT'
- 18:00 to 19:00 Tyrolean folklore and folk music
- 19:00 to 20:00 Official Victory Ceremonies
- 20:00 to 22:00 Innsbruck 2012 Music Festival presented by Samsung, featuring international music acts

London hip-hop takes over Medals Plaza
On Wednesday, as the half-time whistle blew at the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games, the concerts at the Medals Plaza hit a high note too, with Stereo MCs becoming the fourth international act to set foot on the Samsung Music Festivals stage, keeping up the high standard set by the international stars who have performed over the past few nights.

Happy fans, cosy atmosphere
Daniel Johansson and Joakim Sveningsson – Friska Viljor – are a musical duo from Sweden that offer their fans top-class indie rock. Following the band Nihls, the Scandinavian duo took the the stage on Medals Plaza on Tuesday night to get things cosy and cuddly in the heart of Innsbruck.
